Heavy rain and wind is sweeping across the country this lunchtime.
Met Eireann has issued a nationwide status yellow rain warning with accumulations of around 25 to 40 millimetres.
While, a low level yellow wind warning has been issued for Clare and the rest of Munster, with gust of up to 110 kilometres per hour expected until 3 o’clock this afternoon, with coastal areas the worst affected.
