Met Éireann Warns Of Coastal Flooding In West Clare

Residents and businesses in West Clare are being warned of the strong possibility of coastal flooding in the coming days.

A yellow wind warning comes into effect tonight ahead of a polar air mass, which is set to bring strong gusty winds and wintry showers to the Atlantic seaboard.

Waves of up to 15 metres are being predicted for Clare’s coasts, leading to fear that flooding may occur in parts.
