It’s claimed a widespread roll-out of broadband hubs for remote workers must be a key focus in Clare.

An informal meet-up is being held in Kate O’Reilly’s pub in Clarecastle this Thursday evening, to provide a social outlet for those working from home.

It’s shed fresh light on the issues facing rural parts of the county, where internet connectivity continues to be a struggle – the local authority here has already put three hubs in place around the county.
