McKee And Dooley To Meet ALDI Management Regarding Shannon Decision Appeal

Two of Clare’s political representatives are to seek a meeting with ALDI management to encourage them to appeal a decision not to grant the supermarket planning permission for an outlet in Shannon.

Sinn Féin Councillor Mike McKee and Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley will travel to ALDI’s headquarters in Kildare, following anger locally over the planning rejection.

Close on 100 people attended a public meeting this week and plan to lobby management at Skycourt Shopping Centre, who had opposed the application.
