A man's body has been recovered following a search operation along the River Shannon in Clonlara last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Clonlara Bridge at around 8pm, after reports that a man may have entered the water.

The Shannon-based search and rescue helicopter was also involved in the operation.
It's understood that the man concerned is from the local area.
