Police in Paris say a group of soldiers run-over by a car, were targeted by terrorists.
The six men were mowed down by a black BMW in the suburb of Levallois-Perret earlier today.
Two of them were seriously hurt and taken to hospital, but they are expected to survive.
The incident is the latest in a series of attacks on military members, hired to protect important sites around the country.
The Irish Times’ Paris Correspondent Lara Marlowe says counter-terrorism officers are investigating.
