The French are going to the polls to vote on their next president in two days time.
Opinion polls have shown a widened gap between far-right candidate Marine Le Pen and centrist Emmanuel Macron who has extended his lead to 62 per cent over his rival.
It follows a bruising debate on Thursday night in which both sides traded insults and clashed over the EU, terrorism and the economy.
