Lough Derg RNLI Come To Assistance Of Stranded Cruiser

Two people have been rescued from Lough Derg by the local RNLI group.

The pair were aboard a forty foot cruiser which became stranded inside a red navigation mark by Hare Island.

They were located safe and unharmed just before 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon, and the vessel was taken off the rocks by volunteers, before continuing its journey.
