Candidates have just over 24 hours left to declare for the 2019 local elections in Clare.
The register closes at noon tomorrow, with 47 names currently on the list.
So far, it includes 12 in the Ennis district; 10 in Shannon; 9 each in Killaloe and Kilrush and 7 in Ennistymon.

Of the 47 that have declared so far, 22 are sitting councillors seeking re-election on May 24th.
Those already registered have until next Tuesday to withdraw their candidacy.
