Calls For “Traffic Chaos” At Knockanean School To Be Addressed

It’s claimed “traffic chaos” at a primary school near Ennis must be addressed before any redevelopment of the school goes ahead.

Independent local election candidate Frank Cullinan says a number of residents in the Knockanean area have been expressing their concern at the issue of parking at, and passing, the school daily.

A planned demolition and redevelopment of the school there has been a controversial issue locally since it was first floated in 2015, as residents say the road issue needs to be addressed first.
