A 14 million euro college campus on the Clare Limerick border has been given the green light at the second time of asking.
An Bord Pleanala has granted planning permission for the Limerick Institute of Technology’s new engineering campus at Coonagh.
The development will result in the creation of 134 construction jobs and 100 full time jobs when fully completed.

The first students are expected to be on the LIT Coonagh campus in autumn next year, with 800 staff and students there by the end of the 19/20 academic year.
