Changes in the Clare Garda Division come into effect today, as one Garda station re-opens while another closes.

However, in light of this move, the former station in Kilmihil is re-opening its doors.
Two years ago, Kilmihil was one of eight Clare communities which saw their Garda Station close under a policing revamp, but this move has been welcomed in the area.
