Limerick School Declared Safe Following Bomb Threat

A county Limerick school has been declared safe following a hoax bomb alert this morning. 

Pupils were evacuated from Milford National School after reports of a device.

Gardaí and three units of Limerick City and County Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene. 

Gardaí are investigating a possible link to hoax bomb calls at three other Irish schools and several schools in the UK  – which have apparently been made from an automated system.
