‘Last Chance’ For Government To Engage In Talks To Avoid Nurses Strike

A Clare member of the HSE’s Regional Health Forum West says this is the government’s last chance to listen to nurses’ frustrations and avoid a strike.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives organisation are to vote on industrial action, in the long-running row over pay and conditions in the sector.

If they vote it through, nurses would walk off the job for 24 hours and only provide emergency medical care.
