Lahinch Councillor Unimpressed With Town’s Bins

A Lahinch councillor is hitting out at Clare County Council over a failure to provide basic facilities in the North Clare village.

Councillor Bill Slattery is concerned that there is a lack of bins in the North Clare village, with just eight bins serving the entire promenade as the tourist season hits its peak.

He says the lack of space for rubbish has resulted in bags of it being left beside bins overnight, which have then been ravaged by animals overnight.
