The Labour Party have selected their first candidate in Clare, ahead of May’s local elections.
Librarian and trade union activist Seamus Ryan, who originally hails from Moy, Lahinch, will represent the party in the Ennis Municipal District.
He also ran in Ennis in the last elections in 2014.
