Kerr To Chair To Cliffs Board

Businessman Bobby Kerr has been appointed as the new chair of the first Board for the Cliffs of Moher.

The former dragon has been appointed to the role, as part of a new eight-person Board for what is the second most popular tourist attraction in the country.

Mr. Kerr, the Chairman of Insomnia Coffee and former Dragons Den mogul, will chair the board that also includes local Councillors Richard Nagle and Bill Slattery, as well as Paul Keely of Fáilte Ireland and Council official Leonard Cleary.

The Board is responsible for overseeing the planning and governance of the Cliffs of Moher, and the Council says it will be expanded further based on required expertise.

Ennistymon Fianna Fáil Councillor Richard Nagle says the new board will now work for the benefit of the county.
