Just 14% of non-domestic buildings in Clare have an A or B Building Energy Rating.
The latest statistics from the CSO show that over half of the 1,625 non-domestic buildings in Clare have an energy rating of D or less, labelling their energy efficiency as poor.
The most common rating is in the C category with 31%, but a fifth of all buildings in the county have the lowest ratings of F and G.
