It’s claimed a significant boost in the number of overseas visitors coming to Ireland is making Clare a hotbed for those looking to invest in the accommodation sector.

Latest figures from the CSO show that in the month of April, just shy of 900,000 people visited Ireland from overseas, a jump of more than 66,000 on the same month last year.

Overall, there’s been 2.9 million visits to Ireland so far this year, which is a more than 7 percent increase on the same period of 2017.
