Irish Water says the majority of customers in parts of West Clare, who saw their supplies affected this weekend, should now have water restored.
A number of water mains bursts impacted supplies to customers in the Doonbeg and Miltown Malbay areas – the latest in a series of recurring bursts for at least some of those affected.
While repairs are now largely complete, Irish Water says work is ongoing to restore normal supply to areas including Rineen, Ballyvaskin and Whitestrand and this is expected to be completed by 2pm this afternoon.
