Investigation Launched As Woman’s Body Is Found In Ardnacrusha

Gardaí are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Ardnacrusha today. 

The discovery is reported to have been made this afternoon by a group of schoolchildren, near to the power station. 

The area has been sealed off and a post mortem examination is to be carried out. 

The investigation is being led by Limerick-based Gardaí, as the area falls under their jurisdiction, and it’s understood they are keeping an open mind as to the cause of the woman’s death.
