Finally for now, part of Ennis Town Centre has been brightened up to mark this, International Women’s Day.
Clare ICA Guilds have come together to cover areas near the Maid of Erin in a colourful knitted display, known as ‘yarn bombing’.
They’re joining with ICA groups across the country who are doing similar demonstrations in many of their areas, and this is one of a number of events locally to mark International Women’s Day.
