A Clare Student has been honoured with a global academic award.
Susan Williams, a fourth-year BSc Physiotherapy student from Shannon has been highly commended for her paper on Prehabilitation in Cancer Treatment at this year’s Undergraduate Awards.
Her work was selected by an international panel as being among the best out of over 6,400 submissions from nearly 300 institutions across 47 countries.
President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins says the Undergraduate Awards “celebrates original, creative thinking among students” a a time when “the world’s need for such critical capacity has never been greater”.
