Major Upgrade Works On Miltown Malbay Water Mains Brought Forward

A major upgrade of the water mains serving the Miltown Malbay and surrounding areas has been brought forward.

An additional 43 million euro has been allocated to Irish Water for leak reduction and improvement measures for works this year under the July Stimulus.

Minister for Housing and Local Government, Darragh O’Brien has confirmed that part of that fund can be used to bring forward the works, which were due to start in the first quarter of 2021, to the third quarter of this year.
