Irish Water Fails To Commit To Timeline To Address Westbury Water Issues

Irish Water has failed to give a timeline on a long-term solution to address persistent water issues affecting a South East Clare community.

The water mains serving the Westbury estate, which is home to around 1,000 houses, has burst at least three times in recent days, leaving homes and businesses without supply, in some cases, for days on end.

The most recent outage happened on Monday and last week’s saw a number of local playschools and Athlunkard Nursing Home left without supply.
