Confidence That Ennistymon Roadworks Will Be Finished Ahead Of Schedule

Confidence is being expressed in North Clare that works being carried out on roads there that are causing traffic issues will conclude ahead of schedule.

Irish Water began the eight-week process of replacing ageing pipes in Ennistymon and relaying the road in late March.

Over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, the increased traffic heading towards the coast and surrounding areas led to severe delays – in one case, a Clare FM listener reported an hour-long drive between Kilnaboy and Fanore, a 27km route.
