Claims National Broadband Plan Has Failed In Every Respect

Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD claims the National Broadband Plan has failed in every respect.

Timmy Dooley is reacting to reports that the Government is due to approve the National Broadband Plan, despite the cost going significantly over budget to 3 billion euro.

Its understood the cabinet will be asked to sign off in two weeks on the proposal by businessman David McCourt, who was the last remaining bidder for the plan to bring high-speed broadband to half a million rural homes.
