A Killaloe Councillor is insisting the resources need to be found to repair flood-damaged roads in many parts of East Clare.
Tony O’Brien’s motion was put before a private meeting of the Killaloe Municipal District yesterday, which was held in Clare County Council chambers while adhering to social distancing advice.
In reply, though, he was informed that the funding is not currently in place in the existing roads budget for the county.

However, Fianna Fáil Councillor O’Brien says in light of flooding in the likes of Clonlara over recent weeks, the badly damaged roads need to be prioritised.
