Calls For More Clarity On Broadband Plan Rollout

Clare’s Fine Gael TD says people who are waiting for high-speed internet access under the National Broadband Plan need to be given more information on when they will be connected.

Deputy Joe Carey says his office is being contacted on a daily basis by Clare residents who are keen to be connected, but don’t know how long they will have to wait for.

Responding, Minister Eamon Ryan said he agreed that as much information as is possible should be provided, though he stressed that this may not be possible just yet as there are a number of factors up in the air.
