IDA Regional Manager Thinks US Companies Will Still Invest In Ireland Despite Trump Comments

The IDA’s Regional Manager in the MidWest claims US firms will continue to invest in Ireland – even if the American corporate tax rate falls.

It’s after American President Donald Trump reiterated his election commitment to lower the rate to compete with the likes of Ireland.

Their rate currently stands at 35 percent versus Ireland’s 12.5 – and Trump says he wants to bring American firms back onto American soil.
