The IDA is expressing hope that Clare’s strong performing industrial sector will help attract more positive announcements for the county.
It follows the announcement of 600 jobs for the Mid West by 2020, with US medical equipment firm Edwards Lifesciences launching their European expansion here.
An initial 60 jobs are currently being recruited for in the Shannon Free Zone though there has yet to be any confirmation on where the purpose-built facility will be constructed in the region.
