The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is calling on those in North Clare to come out in force and donate ahead of the long weekend.
A blood donation clinic is being held in the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon today and tomorrow and is open to both first-time and returning donors.
Extra blood supplies are needed ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend, when supplies tend to be depleted more than usual.
