HSE Midwest Warn Clare People Not To Show Complacency In COVID Fight

The HSE’s Director of Public Health in the Midwest has appealed for people in Clare not to show complacency despite a slight reduction in the incidence rate of COVID-19 here.

This county’s prevalence of the virus per 100,000 people now stands at 1,285.2 after 46 new cases were confirmed here last night – though that’s down from over 1500 at the same time last week.

Public health officials say transmission of the virus in both the community in Clare and in residential care settings remains high.
