The CEO of Midwest Simon says the impact homelessness is having on children’s formative years cannot be understated.
It comes as the latest Department of Housing data has revealed that 21 more children across the Midwest region entered homelessness in the month of October, putting the total number now at 163.
While the overall number of homeless people here has fallen in the past 12 months, the number of children without a permanent home has continued to rise.
