Major Survey Of Ballyvaughan’s Housing Needs Carried Out

A survey to capture the extent of the housing needs of the people of North Clare is being carried out by a community group in Ballyvaughan.

The online study aims to shine a light on the issue of depopulation, which is facing many rural areas, and in particular see if young adults can be encouraged to set up home in the area.

The survey was piloted online during the summer, with around 50 respondents completing it so far, while it remains open until October 24th, when a public information evening will be held to present their findings.
