Consultants have been appointed for the design of a new €5.5 million social housing scheme in Miltown Malbay.
Funding for the 27-unit development was announced back in January, with an expected commencement date of spring of next year and is hoped to be finished by 2021.
The proposed project on Ballard Road will comprise four-bed, three-bed and two-bed units, along with specially adapted units and two-bed apartments.
