Concern Expressed That Rising Rents May Force Clare People Into Homelessness

Concern is being expressed that Clare people may be forced into homelessness because of rising rental prices across the county.

Rental prices are now almost 2.5% higher in Clare than they were this time last year, with it now costing an average of €814 to rent a three-bedroom semi detached house in this county according to Daft.ie.

The ban on evictions and freezes on rents which had been in place as a result of COVID-19 expired earlier this month.
