Clare’s First Family Homeless Hub Now Up And Running

Clare’s first homeless hub for families is now up and running in Ennis.

The centre, at Cusack Lodge on the Lahinch Road, is already accommodating its first family, with four more to join them there next week.

It will operate as a bridge between emergency accommodation such as hotels and B&Bs and a long-term family home.

The project will be managed by Novas Ireland, in conjunction with Clare County Council.

Head of Policy and Communications with Novas Una Burns says the ultimate aim is to support these families and ensure they end up out of homelessness.
