Clare Rents Still Rising While Rental Stock At All-Time Low

The number of homes available to rent across Clare is at one of it’s lowest levels.

According to the latest quarterly Daft.ie rental report, the cost of renting a home is also rising, with an almost 10% jump in average rental prices between January and March this year.

Rents in Clare rose by 9.8% in the first three months of the year, according to the latest daft.ie report, with the average monthly cost of renting now at €832.

That means rent prices in this county have jumped by 58% from their lowest point.

Across the country rents were up by 8.3%, with the average monthly rent now at €1,366, while in Munster, Connacht and Ulster, prices were up by just over 12%.

Cities saw the highest rises with increases of between 10% and 15% in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford cities.

The number of homes available to rent is also at it’s lowest level in 13 years, with just 2-thousand 700 homes available on the rental market on May 1st.
