Clare is one of the least affordable counties in the country for first time buyers.
A new study by EY – DKM Economic Advisory, which looks at affordability across the country, shows it could take almost four and a half years, at least, for first time buyers in this county to save up a deposit for a home.
That’s in stark contrast to the likes of Leitrim, where it would take just over a year.
