An East Clare local election candidate says it’s vital that Clare County Council upgrades its existing stock of social housing to make it accessible.
Beckha Doyle is a Social Democrats candidate from Scarriff and says she has met a significant number of people on the campaign trail whose quality of life is suffering due to their aged social homes.
In particular, her call is on the local authority to ensure that as many of the council owned homes as possible are wheelchair accessible.
