17 Children Enter Homelessness In Clare In Just One Month

It’s emerged that an additional 17 children in Clare became homeless last month.

Figures released by Clare County Council reveal that 50 children were living in emergency accommodation across the county at the end of April, up from 33 just four weeks earlier.

There were also 66 adults being accommodated in 17 hotels and B&Bs in Clare as of the 30th of April, while the Laurel Lodge homeless facility in Ennis was at full capacity at 13.
