11% Annual Increase In Clare Rents

The average cost of renting in Clare has risen by 11% in the past year, with average prices now at €871.

Quarter three figures compiled by Daft.ie show that while inflation overall has reached a six-year low; the median price paid by Clare tenants in that period has increased by over €300 per month.

The average monthly fee for a three-bed home here sits at €803, with four-beds costing €875 – a one-bed apartment, meanwhile, costs €611 per month.

Nationally, there’s been a 5.2% increase in rents and author of the report, economist Ronan Lyons says the most expensive and cheapest areas have seen increases.
