Irish Water is lifting its hosepipe ban for Co. Clare
The measure had been introduced in response to this summer’s prolonged dry weather, which in turn led to pressure on supply
It’s now lifting it for 10 counties in the West, however, including Clare .

It is to remain in place in 16 counties in Leinster and Munster until the end of September, and Irish Water has warned that if the coming weeks are particularly dry, then there could be further restrictions.
