Hopes Of Resolution To Maternity Hospital Ownership Battle

It’s hoped legal documents – which have yet to be completed – could solve the ownership furore over the new National Maternity Hospital.

The board of the St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group is due to meet this evening, after the Board of Holles St voted last night to reaffirm its commitment to the deal.

The agreement confirms the facility is to be built at St. Vincent’s in Dublin and owned by the Sisters of Charity – but will have full clinical and financial independence enshrined in its memorandum and other legal documents.
