Bill payers are set for six major price hikes today.
Sky, Vodafone, Energia, Flogas, Pinergy and PrePayPower are increasing their rates from this morning.
It comes on the back of the news that Ireland has the third highest broadband prices and the fourth highest electricity prices in the EU.

Leap card and other public transport fares are also increasing from today, but there is good news for people in areas including Ardnacrusha and Clonlara who are now able to avail of cheaper fares on routes into Limerick City.
