High-Rise Apartment Blocks ‘Not An Option’ For Clare

It’s claimed the government’s plans to build high-rise apartment blocks in answer to the housing crisis is ‘not an option’ for Clare.

Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy has released three reports outlining how the country will deal with the severe shortage of housing over the coming years.

The Government has pledged to build 500,000 properties by 2040, initially looking at the five main cities, while there will be a focus will be on blocks of apartments.
