An actor and musician has made a heart-felt appeal for help, following the tragic loss of his niece in a north Clare road crash.
Estlin Wall, who was days away from her fourth birthday, passed away in hospital on Saturday night, following a two car crash on the N85 near Inagh.
Her dad Vincent, who was taking Estlin to the crèche when the collision occurred, remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Amy, the toddler’s mother, recently gave birth to another baby girl, Mannix, who is now 12-weeks-old.
Over €44,700 has now been raised for their family, following an online appeal for help from Steven Wall, Vincent’s older brother.
Steven, who is a star of tv series Moon Boy and a member of The Stunning, has posted on Facebook that the tragedy is “beyond belief” and that his family “is in bits”.
The details of Estlin’s funeral will be made known in the coming days.
Rather than sending flowers, Steven has asked that people make a donation to a fund set up by the people of Ennistymon to help Estlin’s parents and with Vincent’s rehabilitation.
