Shortfall In Early Intervention Home Care Packages In Clare

The outgoing CEO of Clarecare is warning that budgetary cuts have impacted their ability to provide home supports to as many people that are in need of them.

Clarecare is the largest provider of home help and home care services, and its annual report outlines how it delivered 280,000 hours of care in the home last year.

However, its CEO has outlined how a centralised administration of these resources has forced them to divert almost all of this away from clients who previously would have received a small amount of home help as part of an early intervention move.
