Politicians Told To Admit UHL Is Nothing More Than “A Disaster”

Politicians are being called on to acknowledge that the region’s main hospital is nothing more than a disaster.

Hundreds have gathered in Ennis this afternoon to protest at the overcrowding situation at University Hospital Limerick and to call for the reopening of the A&E in Ennis General.

Health Minister Simon Harris, as well as local politicians, have come under fire from the speakers, who say they have their heads buried in the sand and they’re ignorant to the true extent of the problem.
